Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Elite Home Audio Visual, we strive to provide high-quality custom in-home AV equipment and professional installation services. Due to the custom nature of many of our offerings, our return policy varies depending on the type of product or service purchased.

2. Equipment Returns (Non-Custom Items)

Standard, non-custom equipment (including items such as a Marantz AV Receiver) may be returned under the following conditions: Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery. Item must be unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. All original accessories, manuals, and packaging must be included.

Restocking Fee: A 10-20% restocking fee may apply depending on the condition of the returned item.

Non-Returnable Items: Opened or used electronics; Special-order or discontinued products.

3. Installed Equipment & Labor

Once AV equipment has been installed or services performed: All labor is non-refundable. Installed equipment is considered accepted unless defective. Defective products will be handled through manufacturer warranty support.

4. Custom & Special Orders

All custom, made-to-order, or special-order items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund. This includes: Custom-configured AV systems (receivers, amplifiers, speakers); Custom speaker or equipment installations; Special-order AV components not regularly stocked.

5. Defective Items, Refunds & Cancellations

Defective/Damaged Items: Notify Elite Home Audio Visual within 48 hours of delivery or installation. We will coordinate repair, replacement, or manufacturer warranty service. Refund Process: Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after inspection. Financed purchases (including Synchrony Financial) will be credited per lender policies. Cancellations: Orders canceled before fulfillment may qualify for a full refund. Orders already processed or shipped may be subject to restocking fees.
